The Umbertino Bridge, named after King Umberto I, reigning sovereign in Italy, was built in masonry to replace the previous wooden bridge, based on the project of the engineer Rosano and realized between 1867 and 1870, with the works managed by the engineer Mazzarella assisted by the engineer Di Chiara.
